  15. WHAT IS EMEDITOR? ==================================================

  17. - A simple text editor for general use instead of Notepad.
  18. - EmEditor can open unlimited size of files (only depends on memory).
  19. - Undo and redo counts are unlimited (only depends on memory).
  20. - Word wrap, auto wrap, no wrap words, hilite words.
  21. - Clickable URLs and mail addresses.
  22. - OLE drag and drop.
  23. - Keyboard, toolbar, font, color customization.
  24. - The window can be split to maximum of 4 panes.
  25. - Microsoft IntelliMouse aware.
  26. - Double byte character aware.
  27. - Can print files.
  28. - Freeware, no need to send money.

  42.   For instance, if SETUP.EXE exists on the root (\) directory in the
  43. drive B:, select [Run] from the Windows start menu, and enter

  47. and press Enter.

  49. Or double click SETUP.EXE from Explorer.

  51. If older version of EmEditor is already running, quit currently 
  52. running EmEditor first, and run the setup.  If older version of 
  53. EmEditor already exists on the hard disk, you can still run the 
  54. setup and can choose the same directory.  This will overwrite the 
  55. old version by the new version of EmEditor.

  57. To run EmEditor, you need Intel CPU Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 or 
  58. 4.0 or Windows 95.

  63. To uninstall EmEditor, run Control Panel and double click 
  64. [Add/Remove Programs] icon, and select EmEditor.

  67. TO RUN =============================================================

  69. To run EmEditor, double click or choose EmEditor icon on the desktop 
  70. or in the program sub menu from the Start menu.

  72. To open a selected file with EmEditor from Explorer, click mouse 
  73. right button and select [Send To] sub menu from the shortcut menu, 
  74. and select EmEditor.

  84. file will be simply opened by EmEditor.
